SignBridge is a mobile application designed to bridge communication gaps between Deaf and hearing communities through real-time sign language translation. Communication barriers remain a challenge, as most people do not understand sign language and interpreters are limited. This project provides an accessible solution by using artificial intelligence for gesture recognition and translation. The application uses a smartphone camera to convert sign language into text and translates text into sign language using a 3D animated avatar. It supports Malaysian Sign Language (BIM), ensuring local relevance. SignBridge enhances accessibility, promotes inclusivity, and reduces reliance on interpreters across healthcare, education, and public services. ere!
