As next-generation wireless networks demand higher data rates and spectral efficiency, Filter Bank Multicarrier (FBMC) has emerged as a robust candidate due to its absence of a cyclic prefix. However, FBMC’s practical implementation is hindered by high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR), heavy computational complexity, and Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI) in multipath environments. This research proposes an enhanced FBMC framework to address these challenges through three integrated innovations. First, a Joint Optimization System (JOS) combining clipping and u-law companding is implemented at the transmitter to reduce PAPR effectively. Second, computational efficiency is improved using the Additional Multiplication Method (AMM), a simplified 3M3A arithmetic technique that minimizes execution time. Finally, an adaptive Enhancement Cascaded Least Square (ECLS) algorithm is integrated at the receiver to mitigate ISI and improve symbol detection. Simulation results demonstrate that the synergy of JOS, AMM, and ECLS significantly strengthens the overall FBMC system.
