The Shuttlecock Collector Robot is an initiative to develop a mobile robotic system that efficiently and systematically collects shuttlecocks on badminton courts. This robot is designed to address the issue of manual shuttlecock collection, which requires time and effort and may disrupt the flow of training sessions.
The robot utilizes a microcontroller-based control system and is equipped with DC motors for movement, an ultrasonic sensor for obstacle detection, and a rotating collection mechanism that directs shuttlecocks into a storage compartment. Its simple and lightweight design enables stable movement on court surfaces.
Based on the conducted tests, the robot demonstrates satisfactory performance in terms of collection efficiency and usability. This project proves that basic robotic technology can be applied to solve real-world problems in sports facilities and has the potential to be further developed into a fully automated system in the future.
