Plastic plant pots can harm the environment because they do not decompose easily. This project aims to create an eco-friendly biopot using natural materials such as coco peat, corn starch, waste tea, and orange peel. Coco peat is used as the main material because it can hold water well and supports plant growth. Corn starch acts as a binder to hold the materials together. Waste tea and orange peel are added to improve the strength of the pot and provide extra nutrients for plants. To produce the biopot, all materials are mixed into a paste, shaped into a pot, and then dried. The final product is lightweight, biodegradable, and safe for the environment. The biopot can be planted directly into the soil, which helps reduce waste and prevents damage to plant roots. In conclusion, this eco-friendly biopot is a good alternative to plastic pots. It helps reduce pollution and encourages the use of natural and recycled materials in gardening.
