SmartPHolio is an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart pigeon hole system designed to streamline the physical submission of student assignments and documents. The traditional manual submission process often leads to disorganized pigeon holes where documents from various courses are mixed, making it difficult and time-consuming for lecturers to sort and identify late submissions. To address these challenges, SmartPHolio integrates an ESP32 sensor, an RFID Card Reader and a Monitor to automate the tracking and sorting process. The system features four dedicated compartments to automatically categorize submissions by course. When a student scans their RFID card, the system captures their details and identifies the specific document being submitted. All submission data, including the exact date and time, is automatically recorded and synchronized with Google Sheets. This allows lecturers to monitor submission status in real-time, significantly reducing the risk of lost documents and administrative delays. The implementation of SmartPHolio enhances management efficiency, ensures systematic document organization and promotes the digital transformation of academic administration in line with IR 4.0 standards. By replacing manual tracking with a digitalized IoT solution, SmartPHolio provides a more accurate, transparent, and time-saving method for both students and educators.
