ProTek.J is a smart safety jacket specifically designed to enhance user safety in various high-risk situations through seven main features. This project addresses the problem of limited safety awareness and the lack of real-time monitoring among individuals in high-risk environments. Its main objective is to develop a wearable system that can enhance user safety. Target users include smart city commuters, young urban residents, the elderly, health-sensitive individuals. The jacket features seven core functions. First, the jacket displays the user’s heart rate and sweat level, monitored through a pulse sensor and GSR sensor on the LCD screen, accompanied by an LED strip that automatically changes colour according to the user’s health condition.In addition, the jacket is equipped with a temperature and humidity display on the LCD to help users monitor the surrounding weather conditions.Furthermore, the jacket includes a proximity detection system that identifies the presence of individuals within a certain distance and activates colour-coded warnings on the Traffic Light LED. This helps increase the user’s alertness and deters suspicious individuals such as thieves, stalkers, or criminals.Meanwhile, the Turn Signal System displays the user’s turning direction through the LED strip at the back of the jacket, alerting drivers or people The jacket also features an emergency alarm system that can be manually activated if the user is in danger. The LED strip will automatically illuminate in dark conditions to assist the user and ensure they are easily visible, thereby improving safety.In addition, all these functions can be monitored and controlled through the iProTek application, allowing continuous management of the user’s safety and health.With the combination of these features, ProTek.J is designed to enhance user safety and well-being, especially in high-risk or isolated environments.
