This project presents a comprehensive drone health monitoring and emergency response system for critical applications such as disaster management, environmental monitoring, and emergency response. It addresses major risks including midair failures, communication loss, and crash landings through real-time telemetry monitoring, AI-assisted decision-making, and autonomous fail-safe actions such as parachute deployment. The system combines a Pixhawk flight controller, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266 microcontroller, and a custom GUI for remote control and monitoring. Key innovations include robust circuitry, shock-absorbing landing gear, and AI-based safe landing zone detection. Testing showed effective failure detection and emergency response, significantly improving drone safety, reliability, and scalability for future operations.
