This project presents an IoT-based filament maker that converts marine plastic bottles into sustainable 3D printing filament for island and coastal communities. Designed to support beach clean-up volunteers such as Tengah Island Conservation (TIC), the system enables local recycling of collected plastic waste into useful value-added products. It integrates automated control for extrusion, cooling, and winding processes, together with IoT monitoring to improve operational efficiency and filament quality. The project helps reduce marine plastic pollution, promotes recycling awareness, and supports circular waste management. It also contributes to SDG 12, SDG 13, and SDG 14 through sustainable production and marine conservation.
