HAVEN LEAF is a STEM innovation project developed by students of SMK Taman SEA for the National STEM Expo. The project transforms pandan leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius) and lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) into a natural herbal tea that promotes health and sustainability. It addresses the issue of sugary and chemically processed beverages while utilising underused local plants. Using Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Cross-Curricular Collaboration (KMR), students integrated knowledge from Science, Mathematics, Geography, Bahasa Melayu, and RBT. The product is caffeine-free, contains no artificial additives, and offers potential health benefits such as stress reduction and improved digestion. HAVEN LEAF demonstrates how STEM education can produce innovative, healthy, and sustainable products.
