The D’SMART (Dyslexia Smart Reading Tool) is a low-cost assistive device designed to support students with Dyslexia in improving reading focus and fluency. Developed using 3D printing, it features a reading window that isolates one line of text, interchangeable blue, green, and yellow overlays secured with elastic bands to reduce visual stress, and a movable arrow pointer to guide word tracking. The tool also includes three finger holes that provide tactile feedback for better control and alignment, and it functions as a bookmark. D’SMART offers a practical multi-sensory solution that enhances reading confidence and supports inclusive education aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4.
