Inadequate lighting and poor ventilation are primary factors contributing to student fatigue and impaired vision during late-night study sessions. This project introduces the Smart Study Space, an innovative IoT-integrated desk appliance system designed to enhance focus and comfort. The system utilizes a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, programmed via the Arduino IDE, as its core interface. It features a dual-control mechanism allowing users to manage a desk lamp and cooling fan via a Blynk smartphone dashboard or voice commands through Google Assistant (integrated via IFTTT). The methodology involved rigorous circuit design using Proteus software and prototype fabrication within a compact, space-saving housing. Findings indicate a high demand for voice and smartphone-controlled study solutions. Developed on a cost-efficient budget, this innovation demonstrates significant potential for the smart home industry by improving productivity through seamless IoT integration.
