This innovation explores the use of Canva Code–based vocabulary games to enhance English vocabulary mastery among 12 years old students in 17 schools in Sarawak. The main challenge identified was students’ reluctance to use dictionaries to find word meanings, which resulted in limited vocabulary knowledge and low performance in school-based English assessments. To address this issue, teachers integrated AI-generated gamified lessons through Canva Code, by creating an engaging digital vocabulary game titled “WordStar Quest.” The game allowed students to learn and revise vocabulary interactively, both in the classroom and at home. Through the gamified approach, students demonstrated increased motivation, engagement, and enjoyment in learning new English words. After 5 sessions of playing WordStar Quest, all the students showed notable improvement. 35% of the pupils who involved in the games scored A in their UPDLPS (Ujian Penilaian Dual Language Program Sarawak)   The findings suggest that gamified learning tools such as Canva Code can effectively motivate students and improve their vocabulary acquisition, making English learning more enjoyable and meaningful. It is recommended that English teachers integrate digital games and AI tools into their lessons to foster students’ interest and independence in vocabulary learning.
