This Smart Door is designed to assist people with disabilities, especially wheelchair users, by enabling them to open and close doors automatically without physical contact. It addresses challenges faced by individuals who may struggle to move independently or access rooms when alone at home. Using a PIR motion sensor, the system detects movement in front of the door and activates a servo motor to open it. After entry or when no motion is detected, the door closes automatically. This innovation enhances independence, safety, and convenience for users, while also providing peace of mind for family members who may need to leave them unattended at home.
