Wild Alert AI is an innovative system developed to assist in monitoring and mitigating the risks of human–wildlife conflict. The solution integrates artificial intelligence (AI) with Internet of Things (IoT) devices to detect, classify, and provide real-time alerts when wildlife approaches human settlements or agricultural areas. Using image recognition and sensor-based data, the system can identify specific animal species, analyze their movement patterns, and trigger automated notifications through mobile applications or connected devices. This early-warning mechanism enables local communities, farmers, and authorities to take proactive measures to reduce potential damage and ensure safety for both humans and wildlife. The prototype has been tested in controlled environments, showing promising results in accuracy and responsiveness. Beyond reducing economic losses and ensuring human safety, WildAlert AI contributes towards sustainable coexistence and supports conservation efforts by minimizing unnecessary harm to wildlife.
