This research is driven by the challenges faced by Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) students who lack proficiency in operating scientific calculators optimally, leading to excessive time spent on manual calculations that often yield no marks in examinations. The primary objective of this study is to introduce faster and more efficient calculator techniques to optimize time and simplify the learning process. Furthermore, this project serves as a Teaching Aid (BBM) for teachers and a Learning Aid (BBB) for students. Initial findings indicate that despite models like the Classwiz fx-570EX featuring over 500 functions, the average student utilizes fewer than 30 functions during exams. The study also confirms a significant gap in available resources, as no specific books or materials currently exist to guide students in maximizing these calculator capabilities. To address this, this research introduces FAST CALC APP, an innovative application designed to guide both students and teachers in rapid calculation techniques. In conclusion, FAST CALC APP has the potential to enhance the academic performance of SPM students by providing a competitive edge in terms of speed and accuracy.
