The Orange Peel Granola project is developed as a healthy food innovation by utilizing orange peels, which are often discarded as food waste. This product aims to reduce food waste by reusing orange peels as the main ingredient in producing nutritious and organic granola. The granola contains fiber from oats and nutrients from orange peels, which are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, making it a healthy snack suitable for all age groups. In addition, this product helps reduce production costs by using easily available ingredients and maximizing the use of the whole fruit without waste. This project also enhances students’ creativity and innovation in developing new food products while providing exposure to marketing and entrepreneurship. Therefore, Orange Peel Granola has strong potential to be commercialized as an eco-friendly and healthy food product.
