Virtual Booth

The Smart Dustbin is an IoT-based waste management system developed to improve cleanliness and hygiene. It uses an Arduino microcontroller along with an ultrasonic sensor to detect the presence of a user and automatically open the lid using a servo motor, reducing physical contact and the spread of germs.

In addition, the system includes a waste level monitoring feature that helps indicate when the bin is full, allowing timely disposal. This project highlights the use of embedded systems and IoT technology to create a more efficient and user-friendly waste management solution, supporting cleaner environments and smart city development.
