Model rocketry is a highly engaging educational tool used to teach physics, engineering, and STEM-based problem-solving. However, conventional launching systems often pose safety risks and accessibility issues for students during rocket launches. This study introduces the MyRocket 2 Wireless Launcher System, a redesigned, low-cost remote-controlled launch platform aimed at improving safety, student engagement, and STEM learning outcomes. Using an iterative engineering design process, the project evaluates the system’s effectiveness based on launch performance, safety compliance, and user satisfaction. Results suggest that the wireless launcher significantly enhances user safety and operational efficiency, promoting more inclusive and active student participation in rocketry experiments.
