In recent years, skincare products have become increasingly popular, especially among teenagers who are becoming more aware of personal care and skin health. However, many commercial facial sheet masks contain synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, and harsh ingredients that may cause irritation, particularly for individuals with sensitive or acne-prone skin. This situation highlights the need for safer and more natural skincare alternatives that are both effective and affordable.

To address this issue, we developed Gabiscus, a natural facial sheet mask formulated using dried hibiscus and stevia extracts as the main active ingredients. Hibiscus is known for its antioxidant and skin-brightening properties, while stevia contains soothing compounds that may help calm irritated skin. The formulation also incorporates honey, and Vitamin E to enhance hydration, skin repair, and overall skin nourishment. A controlled extraction and formulation process was conducted to ensure a stable serum with a skin-friendly pH suitable for facial application.

The innovation aims to provide a gentle, plant-based skincare option that supports healthier skin while aligning with current clean beauty trends. Gabiscus demonstrates strong potential as a safe, affordable, and natural skincare solution for teenagers and individuals experiencing mild skin concerns.
