Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12 emphasizes responsible consumption and production to reduce waste and promote sustainability. In many communities, plush toys are commonly owned, especially by children; however, many become unused over time and are eventually discarded despite being in good condition or reusable. As a result, this practice contributes to unnecessary waste and inefficient resource use. The main problem is the lack of a centralized and user-friendly platform that enables communities to donate plushies in a systematic and convenient manner. Although many individuals are willing to donate, they often face challenges such as limited donation channels, items are not accepted, and low awareness. Therefore, the goal of this innovation is to create a digital application that promotes reuse, facilitates the process of donating plush toys, and supports sustainable community behaviors. In order to solve this, Project Plush is introduced as a mobile application that allows users to register plushies for donation, provide detailed descriptions, classify the plush toys, and designate places for distribution to charities or communities in need. Furthermore, the application includes alerts that display trends in plushie donation rates, thereby increasing awareness and user engagement. Consequently, this innovation reduces plushie waste, supports charitable organizations, strengthens community participation, and promotes environmental responsibility. Ultimately, this innovation transforms underutilized household items into community resources, contributing meaningfully to the achievement of SDG 12 through technology-driven, community-based action.
