Virtual Booth

This project presents GasGuard, a smart gas leak detection system developed using an Arduino and an MQ-4 gas sensor. The system is designed to continuously monitor methane gas levels in the surrounding environment. When the detected gas concentration exceeds a predefined safety threshold, the system immediately triggers an alert through a buzzer and LED indicator to warn users.

GasGuard addresses the challenge of detecting invisible and hazardous gases, which can lead to serious risks such as fires, explosions, and health issues if not identified early. The system is cost-effective, easy to construct, and suitable for use in homes, schools, and small environments.

Experimental testing shows that the system can effectively detect gas leaks, although proper calibration and sensor warm-up are required for accurate readings. Overall, GasGuard demonstrates how simple microcontroller-based solutions can enhance safety by providing early warning and preventing potential gas-related accidents
