Modern mathematics education in Malaysia is shifting toward student-centered, interactive methods to address foundational gaps in numeracy. AddiPlay is an innovative, multisensory learning tool designed to simplify basic addition for kindergarten students while reducing learning anxiety. The innovation integrates visual color-mixing rules with kinesthetic LEGO-based counting to bridge the gap between abstract numbers and concrete understanding. Our preliminary research involved a survey of educators and a pre-test in a local kindergarten, AddiPlay addresses this by using a structured, gamified system of question and answer cards. Students match numerical values and their corresponding colors (e.g., Yellow 3 + Red 4 = Orange 7), reinforcing the logic of addition through multiple sensory inputs. Post-implementation results showed a remarkable shift in performance. By transforming a daunting subject into an engaging, hands-on experience, AddiPlay proves that involving students physically in the learning process is the key to long-term mathematical confidence.
