Conventional safety helmets provide only basic protection and do not address hazards such as excessive noise, poor lighting, and impacts. This project develops the AeroGuard Helmet (AGH), a smart helmet designed to improve safety in hangar and industrial environments. It features noise detection, automatic lighting, vibration alerts, and real-time monitoring via an application. The development process included surveys, design, prototyping with sensors and a microcontroller, and testing. Results show enhanced safety performance, with 85.1% user approval. The AGH improves protection and situational awareness, offering strong potential as next-generation personal protective equipment.
