Natural disinfectant can be produced using a simple extraction method from plant-based materials with antimicrobial properties. This study aims to develop an eco-friendly disinfectant as an alternative to chemical-based products. The extraction process involves isolating active compounds from selected natural sources through basic heating and filtration techniques. The extract obtained is then tested for its effectiveness in inhibiting microbial growth. Results show that the natural disinfectant demonstrates noticeable antibacterial activity and is safer for daily use. In conclusion, the product has potential as a sustainable, low-cost disinfectant that reduces reliance on synthetic chemicals while promoting environmental and human health safety.
